Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran announced that Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will visit Türkiye on February 11 at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
In a statement shared on his social media account, Communications Director Burhanettin Duran said:
“Greek Prime Minister Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis will pay an official visit to our country on February 11, 2026, upon the invitation of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on the occasion of the Sixth Meeting of the Türkiye–Greece High-Level Cooperation Council.”
Bilateral relations to be discussed
“With the Council Meeting to be held in Ankara under the chairmanship of our President and the Greek Prime Minister, and with the participation of the relevant ministers, Türkiye–Greece relations will be reviewed in all their dimensions, and opportunities to advance cooperation between the two neighboring countries will be discussed.”
“It is envisaged that views will be exchanged during the talks not only on bilateral relations, but also on regional and global developments. Within the framework of the visit, the signing of various documents aimed at strengthening bilateral relations is also on the agenda.”
