Iran has demanded compensation from Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the grounds that their territories were used in US-Israeli attacks

Iran stated that it is seeking compensation from Bahrain and the UAE due to the use of their territories in US-Israeli attacks, emphasizing that this situation violates international law.

Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN), Saeid Iravani, said that Bahrain and the UAE should pay compensation for failing to prevent their territories from being used in US-Israeli attacks against Iran.

According to the Tasnim News Agency, Iravani sent an official letter regarding the matter to the UN Secretary-General and the Presidency of the Security Council.

The letter stressed that allowing the territory of other countries to be used for military attacks is a violation of international law.

Iravani also noted that Bahraini authorities had previously been informed about the issue and that the matter has been reflected in UN documents.

The Iranian side stated that civilians and civilian settlements were targeted in the attacks, which is incompatible with the principles of good neighborly relations and mutual respect.

The statement emphasized that the unlawful actions of the UAE and Bahrain entail responsibility and that both material and moral damages suffered by Iran must be compensated.

Iran had previously stated that the United States carried out missile strikes from Bahrain and the UAE as part of these attacks.
