Iran’s Armed Forces denied claims that a missile had been launched toward Türkiye

Iran’s Armed Forces rejected allegations that a missile was fired at Türkiye and emphasized that the incident should be investigated.

According to Iran’s state radio and television, the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces stated: “The Iranian armed forces deny any missile launch toward friendly neighbor Türkiye.”

Earlier, the Turkish Ministry of National Defense had announced that “a ballistic munition fired from Iran and entering Turkish airspace was neutralized by NATO air and missile defense elements deployed in the Eastern Mediterranean.”
