Trump: If the Strait of Hormuz Is Not Reopened Immediately, We Will Destroy Oil Fields and Kharg Island

U.S. President Donald Trump shared a new threat directed at Iran on his social media platform Truth Social.

In his message, Trump warned that if the Strait of Hormuz is not immediately reopened, the United States would destroy Iran’s oil fields and Kharg Island.

Trump’s statement reads as follows:

“The United States is engaged in serious talks with a new and more reasonable regime to end our Military Operations in Iran.

Significant progress has been made, but if for any reason a deal is not reached in the near future—which likely will happen—and if the Strait of Hormuz is not immediately reopened, we will end this by blowing up and completely destroying Iran’s beautiful ‘mansions,’ all power generation facilities, oil wells, and Kharg Island (and possibly all desalination plants), which we have deliberately not yet touched.

This will be retaliation for the many of our soldiers and others killed by Iran during the 47-year ‘Reign of Terror’ of the former regime.”
