Trump: We Are Currently Negotiating With Iran and We Will See What Happens

U.S. President Donald Trump said that the United States is currently negotiating with Iran. Trump also signed a temporary budget, ending the government shutdown.

Speaking to members of the press during the temporary budget signing ceremony in the Oval Office, President Trump answered questions on the current agenda.

In his remarks, Trump stated that the U.S. is currently in talks with Iran:

“We’ll see whether something will be done with Iran. They had a chance to make a deal some time ago, but they didn’t. They want to negotiate. We are currently negotiating with Iran.”

Trump declined to answer a question regarding where the talks with Iran are taking place.
