Peskov: Russia–U.S. Economic Working Group to Meet Today and Tomorrow

Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on the content of the Russia–U.S. dialogue, which it was decided would continue in Abu Dhabi.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Kirill Dmitriev and Steve Witkoff, the special envoys of the Russian and U.S. delegations who met late at night at the Kremlin, will hold bilateral meetings of the economic working group in Abu Dhabi today and tomorrow.

Peskov’s statements on the Russia–U.S. dialogue:

🔴 Meetings between Dmitriev and Witkoff within the framework of the Russia–U.S. economic working group will take place today and tomorrow

🔴 There are currently around $5 billion in frozen Russian assets in the United States

🔴 Frozen Russian assets in the U.S. could be used for the reconstruction of war-ravaged areas, including Donbass

🔴 The timing of the trilateral security working group meeting in Abu Dhabi will be determined depending on the arrival of the delegations; however, meetings may be held today and tomorrow if necessary

🔴 We do not consider it appropriate to disclose the content of the “Anchorage formula”

🔴 The Ukrainian army should withdraw from Donbass in order to facilitate the settlement process
