U.S. President Donald Trump said that Vice President JD Vance will visit Armenia and Azerbaijan in February.
President Trump announced that U.S. Vice President JD Vance is planning to visit Armenia and Azerbaijan next month.
In a post shared on Truth Social, Trump said the following:
“I would like to thank Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for honoring the Peace Agreement we signed last August. This was a terrible war—one of the eight wars I ended—but now we have prosperity and peace. In February, Vice President Vance will travel to both countries to advance our peace efforts and to promote the Trump Path for International Peace and Prosperity.”
The U.S. President also added that Washington will strengthen its strategic partnership with Azerbaijan. Trump further mentioned peaceful nuclear cooperation agreements with Armenia, deals with semiconductor manufacturers, and the sale of U.S. defense equipment to Azerbaijan.
