Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia remains open to a peaceful solution regarding Ukraine, but that Kyiv has not yet made the relevant decisions, and that Russia continues its special military operation.
Speaking at a press briefing today, Peskov stated that the doors remain open for a peaceful settlement on Ukraine, however Kyiv has not yet taken the necessary decisions, and Russia is continuing its special military operation.
“We do not plan to comment on the results of the talks in the UAE at this stage”
Peskov noted that the Kremlin does not currently plan to make any statements regarding the outcome of the next round of consultations planned in Abu Dhabi with the participation of delegations from the United States, Russia and Ukraine.
The Kremlin spokesman emphasized once again that Russia continues to keep the door open to a peaceful resolution of the Ukraine conflict.
“There are no concrete developments regarding contacts between Putin and Macron”
Responding to a question about possible contacts between Russian President Vladimir Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron, Peskov said that there are no concrete developments on the matter at this time.
“Russia will defend its interests in the Arctic”
The Kremlin spokesman stressed that Russia has significant interests in the Arctic region and will defend those interests using all instruments available under international law.
