Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that Ukraine continues its futile resistance instead of paving the way for a peace process, commenting on Ukrainian drone (UAV) attacks on Russian regions.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made statements on current issues during today’s press briefing.
Peskov noted that the Russian Armed Forces continue to fulfill their assigned tasks within the framework of the “special military operation” and to ensure the security of Russian regions, stating:
“Instead of making the necessary responsible decisions and opening the way for a peace process, the Kyiv regime continues its futile resistance.”
The Russian official also said that it is not possible to provide a logical explanation for many of Kyiv’s actions, adding that Moscow remains open to a peace process and is awaiting the next round of negotiations with Ukraine.
Peskov added that the time and location of the next round of negotiations have not yet been determined, but that it could happen soon.
