Kremlin: The world has entered a major economic crisis

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that the world has entered a major economic and energy crisis, noting that global demand for Russian energy resources has increased.

Speaking at a press briefing, Peskov evaluated current developments, particularly in the energy sector amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

Addressing the situation, he said:
“As the world has steadily entered a growing and quite significant economic and energy crisis, energy markets and market conditions have, of course, completely changed.”

The Kremlin spokesperson also emphasized that there has been strong demand to supply Russian energy resources through alternative routes.

“We are conducting negotiations regarding the supply of our energy resources abroad in a way that will best serve our interests,” he added.
