Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, emphasized that war is not a solution and called for diplomacy.
Pezeshkian made notable statements regarding regional and international tensions. According to Iran’s official news agency IRNA, he stated that war does not benefit any party and pointed to diplomatic solutions.
Speaking during a visit to Iran’s Ministry of Justice, Pezeshkian said:
“War benefits no one. While standing against threats, all rational and diplomatic means should be used to reduce tensions.”
Highlighting the importance of a rational approach to international developments, Pezeshkian noted that distrust toward the United States and Israel continues, adding that caution in relations is an “inevitable necessity.”
Calling for unity in the Islamic world, Pezeshkian stated that increasing solidarity among Islamic countries is the most effective way to counter external interventions. He said:
“Through solidarity, sincerity, and collective participation, this process can be overcome and the country’s path of progress can be sustained.”
The Iranian President had previously delivered similar messages during a visit to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, stressing that Iran does not want the war to expand and that resolving issues depends on dialogue.
