The Kremlin stated that the ceasefire declared by Russia will be implemented in the special military operation zone on May 8 and 9.
Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov made statements on current issues during today’s press briefing.
Peskov confirmed that the ceasefire declared by Russia for the special military operation zone will be observed on May 8–9.
Referring to the security measures taken due to Victory Day celebrations on May 9 in Russia, the Kremlin spokesman stated that additional measures had been implemented to ensure the safety of Russian President Vladimir Putin in light of threats coming from Kyiv, saying:
“Putin is protected carefully, like heads of state around the world.”
