Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay an official visit to China on May 19–20 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
According to a statement released by the Kremlin press office, President Vladimir Putin will make an official visit to China on May 19–20 at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping.
The statement noted that the talks will focus on relations between Moscow and Beijing. Following the meetings, the two sides are expected to sign a joint statement and several bilateral agreements.
Putin and Xi will also attend the opening ceremony of the Russia-China Years of Education initiative.
During his visit, the Russian leader is also scheduled to meet with Chinese Premier Li Qiang.
