Train Crash Turns Deadly in Bangkok: Bus Bursts Into Flames, At Least 8 Dead

At least eight people were killed and 25 others injured after a train collided with a bus, cars, and motorcycles in Thailand’s capital, Bangkok. Following the crash, a public transportation bus was engulfed in flames.

According to authorities, the accident occurred on Asok–Din Daeng Road, where a train crashed into a public bus, several cars, and motorcycles. A fire broke out on the bus immediately after the collision.

Flames spread rapidly through the area

A large number of firefighters and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene, as the flames quickly spread to the bus and nearby vehicles.

Rescue crews worked to pull injured people from the wreckage, while firefighters carried out an intensive operation to bring the blaze under control.

Authorities later announced that the fire had been contained and that cooling operations were continuing in the area. Teams also took precautions against possible gas leaks.

An investigation has been launched into the cause of the accident.
