Russian Special Envoy Kirill Dmitriyev announced that White House Special Envoy Steve Witkoff will visit Russia in the coming days.
Kirill Dmitriyev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and the Russian President’s Special Representative for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries, told Russian media that negotiations between Russia and the United States on Ukraine are expected to resume from where they left off.
Responding to a question about when U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff would arrive in Russia, Dmitriyev said, “As soon as possible.”
Earlier in April, the Russian official traveled to the United States and held talks with officials from Donald Trump’s administration. The discussions were reported to focus not only on the Ukraine issue but also on economic cooperation between the two countries.
