Iranian leader Mojtaba Khamenei said that his father, Ali Khamenei, will be avenged, declaring in a message released for his father’s funeral and burial ceremony that “Revenge is the will of our nation, and it must be carried out.”
In a statement issued on the occasion of the funeral and burial of his father, former Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, Mojtaba Khamenei vowed that his father’s death would be avenged.
In a message shared on his social media accounts, Khamenei wrote: “Revenge is the will of our nation, and it must be fulfilled. The free people of the world will soon carry out part of this divine duty.”
Emphasizing that he would continue to follow the path laid out by his father, Ali Khamenei, Mojtaba Khamenei added:
“We promise to take revenge on the criminal murderers for the martyrs of both wars and for your pure blood. These criminals, whose names are on our list from beginning to end, will take their wish for a peaceful death in their beds with them to the grave. They should know that this matter does not depend on my presence or that of any other officials. Whether we are here or not, this will be carried out.”
