Canadian Pilot Flew Passengers for 17 Years with a Fake License

In Canada, former Air Canada pilot Geoffrey Wall has been arrested after allegedly operating more than 900 flights over approximately 17 years without holding the required pilot license.

Canadian police announced that criminal charges have been filed against Geoffrey Wall for allegedly using a fraudulent pilot license for nearly 17 years. Authorities stated that Wall served as a captain on Boeing 767, 777, and 787 aircraft and earned millions of Canadian dollars during that period.

According to officials, Wall was taken into custody on June 1. Investigators determined that between 2009 and 2025, he acted as captain on more than 900 domestic and international flights without obtaining the necessary license or completing the mandatory examinations.

Allegedly Served on More Than 900 Flights

Speaking at a press conference in Ontario, Peel Regional Police Deputy Chief Milinovich highlighted the extraordinary nature of the investigation.

“This investigation and the details surrounding it are like something out of a movie script,” Milinovich said, noting that Wall had flown Boeing 767, 777, and 787 passenger aircraft for approximately 17 years and eventually rose to the position of commanding captain.

Allegedly Earned Millions of Dollars

Police officials stated that Wall earned approximately CAD 3 million in salary during the period in question. Investigators are conducting a detailed review of the pilot’s licensing records and training history as part of the ongoing inquiry.

Following the revelation of the case, concerns have been raised regarding aviation safety and oversight mechanisms. Authorities confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing.
