Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the pace of the Eastern Military Group’s advance in the operation zone is commendable during a meeting with officials from the Russian Ministry of Defense.
During the meeting, Putin asked Defense Ministry officials to provide an assessment of the current situation along the front line.
He emphasized that the Eastern Military Group’s rate of advance in the area where the special military operation is being conducted is worthy of praise.
Drawing attention to the proposal to consolidate all rear support services of the Russian Ministry of Defense under a single structure, Putin said that, under current conditions, the activities of rear support services should be regarded as combat operations.
Putin also stressed that the organizational structure of the Russian Ministry of Defense continues to be developed based on the experience gained during the special military operation.
“As you know, we continue to develop the structure of the Ministry of Defense in line with the requirements of the special military operation and the experience gained on the battlefield,” Putin said.
