Iranian military: If an attack occurs, your ships will share the same fate as your bases in the region

Commander Majid Mousavi of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that any possible U.S. attack would be met with a strong response, warning that American ships would “share the same fate” as bases in the region.

Majid Mousavi, Commander of the Aerospace Force of the IRGC, warned that a potential U.S. attack on Iran would have serious consequences. According to statements reflected in the Iranian press, Mousavi said that even if the attack were limited, Tehran would respond with “prolonged and painful strikes.”

Mousavi sent a message to the U.S., saying: “We have seen what happened to your bases in the region; your warships will share the same fate.”

Khamenei: The future of the Gulf will be without America

In a statement released through Iranian state media, Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei said that the future of the Gulf would be one without America. Noting that a “new era” has begun in the Strait of Hormuz amid what he described as the U.S.’s “shameful failure,” Khamenei issued his message on the occasion of National Persian Gulf Day.

Meanwhile, earlier in the day, similar remarks were made in a message by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian regarding the significance of the day. In his message, Pezeshkian stated that “the U.S. naval blockade and attempts at restrictions are doomed to fail.”
