It has been reported that NATO has acknowledged Europe’s lack of long-range combat capabilities.
According to U.S. media, citing an unnamed senior NATO diplomat, Europe lacks long-range weapon potential.
The report stated, “A senior NATO diplomat said that Europe still lacks long-range combat capabilities.”
It was noted that Germany could face a missile shortage following the withdrawal of U.S. troops. Berlin had believed that Washington would soon deploy long-range missiles on German territory capable of reaching deep into Russian territory, but this plan is now described as “effectively dead.”
The NATO diplomat emphasized that any reduction in capabilities is “concerning” in the context of current geopolitical tensions in Europe.
The report also highlighted that Europe does not possess a missile to replace the Tomahawk system.
