Türkiye, Qatar and Egypt jointly condemned Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip, particularly attacks targeting healthcare facilities and medical infrastructure that have resulted in the deaths of civilians.
In a joint statement issued in their capacity as mediating countries, Türkiye, Qatar and Egypt strongly denounced Israel’s ongoing attacks and violations in the Gaza Strip.
The statement condemned Israeli violations that have caused civilian casualties and constitute clear breaches of international law. It specifically highlighted attacks on healthcare facilities and medical infrastructure, which have resulted in the deaths of civilians, including women and children. The three countries stated that such actions represent a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law, and strongly condemned and denounced these acts.
The statement emphasized that Israel must comply with all of its obligations under international law and fully implement the commitments it undertook under the ceasefire agreement.
The mediating countries also warned that the continuing violations threaten efforts to reduce tensions and further exacerbate the humanitarian suffering of civilians in the Gaza Strip.
